Gimena del Rio Riande

Gimena del Rio Riande is a Senior Researcher at the Instituto de Investigaciones Bibliográficas y Crítica Textual (CONICET), in Argentina. She holds a PhD (Summa Cum Laude) in Romance Philology (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and is an Associated Professor at Universidad del Salvador. Riande is the director of the Laboratorio de Humanidades Digitales (HD LAB) and one of the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) Ambassadors for Latin America. She also takes part of the board of directors at the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) Consortium and at the Asociación Argentina de Humanidades Digitales. Author of books, articles, and book chapters related to Digital Humanities and Open Science, with special interest in open source technologies.
