Whitney Ajibola

Senior Program Delivery Associate

Whitney Ajibola is a Senior Program Delivery Associate for Biosciences. In this role, she collaborates closely with the Biosciences Institute lead and project leads on program management and strategy, process improvement, program implementation, budget development, and management, as well as pre-and post-award management.

Before joining Schmidt Sciences, Whitney was a project manager and program analyst at Mathematica, a research and data analytics consultancy dedicated to improving public well-being. She managed multiple large, complex projects in the philanthropic space throughout the project life cycle and collaborated closely with project leadership. Whitney worked on initiatives with organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and various government entities. She also served as a portfolio manager, mentoring junior staff and addressing management challenges. Before Mathematica, Whitney managed the day-to-day operations of the Summer Public Health Scholars Program (SPHSP) at Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons, a CDC grant-funded program aimed at minority undergraduate students pursuing public health and biomedical sciences careers.

Whitney holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy and Management from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Public Health from Temple University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
