Fan Yang Yang
Spacecraft Systems Engineer
Fan Yang is an aerospace and systems engineer currently leading the design and implementation of the Lazuli Space Observatory at Project Pearl. LLC. He previously served as Director of Systems Engineering at Planet Labs, where he led the development of next-generation satellite constellations, and as Chief Systems Engineer at LTA Research, where he designed and implemented a 120-meter rigid airship. Earlier, at NASA Ames, he contributed to mission design, small satellite development, and advanced propulsion concepts. Throughout his career, he has focused on transforming ambitious engineering concepts into operational reality.
