
Nicole Arulanantham
Science Associate
Nicole Arulanantham is a Science Associate at Schmidt Sciences, where she contributes to the Astrophysics and Space Institute.
Previously, Nicole served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Space Telescope Science Institute, where she held a Giacconi Fellowship for her research on the formation of new stars and planets. She is an active observer on both the Hubble and James Webb Space Telescopes and has led the publication of legacy datasets from these facilities. Nicole is passionate about bridging multi-wavelength observatories, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and identifying effective mentoring strategies for new scientists. Her graduate work was funded by a NASA Earth and Space Science Fellowship.
Nicole received a PhD in Astrophysical & Planetary Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder, a MA in Astronomy from Wesleyan University, and a BS in Astrophysics from UCLA.
