Whitney Ajibola
Senior Program Delivery Associate
Whitney Ajibola is a Senior Program Delivery Associate for the BioFutures program. In this role, she works closely with program leads on program management, process improvement, program implementation, and grants management.
Before joining Schmidt Sciences, she was a project manager at Mathematica, a social policy research organization. She led the management of multiple large and complex projects in the foundation area through the project life cycle and worked as a thought partner with project leadership. Whitney worked on projects with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and several government entities. She was also a portfolio manager and mentor, assisting junior staff in solving management issues.
Before her time at Mathematica, Whitney worked at Columbia University’s Vagelos School of Physicians & Surgeons and efficiently managed the day-to-day management of the Summer Public Health Scholars Program (SPHSP), a CDC grant-funded program targeting minority undergraduate students interested in public health and biomedical science careers.
Whitney holds a Master in Public Health from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health in Health Policy and Management and a B.S. in Public Health from Temple University. Whitney also has a professional project management (PMP) certificate.
