During my career I have developed expertise in both clinical (MBBS), and fundamental science research (BSc, PhD, Postdoc). In the latter, my work has focused on leveraging techniques from machine learning to gain insight into biological systems. The current focus of my work is on how the brain combines information across multiple senses, like vision and hearing, a process known as multimodal integration.
