Heloise Stevance is a Computational Astrophysicist at the University of Oxford. After working at the Isaac Newton Group of Telescopes (2014/2015), completing a PhD (University of Sheffield, UK) exploring the physical characteristics of supernovae, and a postdoc (University of Auckland, NZ) researching the genealogy of exploding stars, Heloise has acquired a broad understanding of the needs of the field. As such she is currently developing a Virtual Research Assistant for the next generation of sky surveys hunting for cosmic events. This will enable international research efforts on stellar explosions and how they enriched the Universe in new elements after the Big Bang.
