Mohammed Azzouzi is a research fellow in the chemistry department at Imperial College London, where he is focused on developing AI-based approaches to discover new organic molecules for tailored optoelectronic applications. As a researcher in the field of organic electronics, his overarching goal is to advance the development of sustainable energy technologies through a deep understanding of the underlying physical processes and materials properties. His work combines theoretical modelling and experimental techniques to address the challenges and opportunities in developing advanced materials for optoelectronic and sustainable energy applications. He completed his PhD under the guidance of Professor Jenny Nelson, where he studied the effects of interfacial states in organic solar cells on device performance.
