Mira Shalah-Abboud is the CTO and co-founder of BeautAI, an early stage Beauty-Tech startup focused on developing an automatic makeup application machine. Mira completed a Postdoctoral fellowship in Human-Computer Interaction and Graphics at Stanford University’s Computer Science Department in 2021. She obtained her PhD in 2017 from the Technion. Her thesis is on computer-assisted proofs for the enumeration of lattice animals, focusing on polyominoes (generalized Tetris pieces) and polycubes. Previously, she obtained a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Haifa as part of the Etgar program for excellent high-school students, who study towards a BSc degree concurrently with their high-school studies at the age of 15. She was featured on Forbes Israel 30 Under 30 list in 2019.
