Dr. Alex Turner is an Assistant Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington and the Calvin Professor of Atmospheric Science. Previously, he was a Miller Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California at Berkeley. He completed his PhD in 2017 in Atmospheric Chemistry at Harvard University and his BS in 2012 in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado. His research combines satellite remote sensing, numerical modeling, and Bayesian inference to improve our understanding of atmospheric chemistry and the carbon cycle.
