Matthew Andres Moreno is a digital evolution researcher with interests in evolvability, phylogenetic methods, high performance computing, and open source software development. Matthew received his doctorate degree from Michigan State University in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Evolution, Ecology and Behavior program. Matthew currently serves as a postdoctoral fellow at University of Michigan with appointments in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, the Michigan Institute for Data Science, and the Center for the Study of Complex Studies. At University of Michigan, he collaborates with advisors Dr. Luis Zaman and Dr. Kevin Wood. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Puget sound in Mathematics and Computer Science.
