I am a postdoctoral fellow focusing on biogeochemistry and the dynamics of forest carbon storage. My current research involves quantifying the realizable potential of forest carbon storage under different disturbance regimes, using an AI-integrated biogeochemical model. This research is critical for understanding how forests respond to changing environmental conditions, which can directly inform climate change mitigation strategies. Throughout my career, I have worked on combining data-driven approaches with ecological theory, aiming to enhance the predictive capabilities of ecosystem models.
