I am a research fellow at Imperial College, where I work on scientific machine learning for dynamical systems. I completed my PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and my BSc and MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Università di Pisa.
My research consists of merging recurrent neural networks, convolutional autoencoders, reinforcement learning and Bayesian optimization to predict and control fluid dynamic systems, with a focus on chaotic flows.
