Born and raised in a small village in Germany, I studied chemistry at the University of Münster from 2012–2017, focusing on Organic and Computational Chemistry. After a six-month research stay at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, I returned to Münster for my doctoral studies, focusing on systematic and computational strategies for reaction discovery in homogeneous (photo)catalysis. Since my graduation in 2021, I have been a postdoctoral researcher in Alán Aspuru-Guzik’s group at the University of Toronto, where my research concentrates on the integration of AI and automation for self-driving laboratories.
