Dr. Gerard O’Leary is a bioelectronics researcher developing machine learning-driven medical devices. His research uses cross-species wearable devices to collect physiological data to enable comparative medicine. He received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and is the co-founder of NerveX Neurotechnologies. He is the recipient of an IEEE Pre-Doctoral Achievement Award and the RBC Prize for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
