I am an AI in Science Schmidt Futures fellow based at Imperial College London. My research concerns measurements of the Higgs boson using the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider, Switzerland. In particular, I am interested in optimising machine learning algorithms for classifying Higgs boson candidates. By improving the performance of such algorithms we can achieve a more complete understanding of this elusive particle, ultimately leading to a more fundamental understanding of our universe.
