Karen Warner is the Founder and CEO of BEAM Circular, a new hub for the circular bioeconomy in California’s North San Joaquin Valley that is transforming waste into community prosperity and environmental solutions. Karen has worked in the United States and internationally across a variety of nonprofit, governmental, and private sector roles with a focus on cross-sector partnership development and scaling social innovation. Prior to launching BEAM Circular, her experiences included serving in the Office of the Governor of Colorado, supporting development of an emerging markets product incubator at Medtronic Inc, developing international programs as an early team member of the nonprofit organization Global Health Corps, and serving as District Chief of Staff for U.S. Congressman Josh Harder. Karen has a B.A. in Human Biology and M.B.A. from Stanford University, and an M.P.A. from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. She lives in Modesto, CA, in the heart of the agricultural region where she was raised and now focuses her work.
