Dr. Klijn Marieke established a research group in 2020 at Delft University of Technology with a
focus on advanced analytics to develop and automate scalable bioprocesses. The projects in
her lab span the biotechnological landscape, ranging from industrial microbial fermentation to
ATMP production. By leveraging knowledge and know-how across different bioprocess
applications, the research team is able to effectively apply (novel) in-situ analytics for deeper
process understanding, accelerate data-driven modelling strategies, and implement data-driven
bioprocess control to enable efficient scale-up.
