Dr. Md Abdul Halim is a Schmidt AI in Science Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto, specializing in climate-smart management of managed ecosystems through biometeorology research. He currently focuses on using open-access remote sensing data and AI to identify methane point sources in urban environments. Passionate about teaching and mentoring, he fosters an inclusive learning atmosphere and develops open-source teaching/research materials. As a co-founder of CredoSense Inc., he promotes accessible climate research in developing countries by creating affordable environmental sensor-logger systems. Dr. Halim is a devoted researcher and entrepreneur working towards a sustainable future.
