Omrit Filtser is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at The Open University of Israel. Before joining the Open University Omrit was a postdoctoral researcher at Stony Brook University, hosted by Prof. Joseph (Joe) Mitchell. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, advised by Prof. Matthew (Matya) Katz.
