I am an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) at Northwestern University.
Previously, I was a member at the School of Mathematics of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, and before that – a Hedrick Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics at UCLA, where my host was Terence Tao.
I work in harmonic analysis, additive combinatorics and discrete geometry. During the past few years, my main research thrust has been the study of integer distance sets and the structure of translational tilings. I have also been investigating other problems such as the Collatz conjecture, Fourier decoupling for fractals, and problems of additive combinatorics and ergodic Ramsey theory. I devoted my PhD studies, which I completed in 2019 in the Mathematics Department of Bar-Ilan University, to the celebrated Fuglede conjecture on the relationship between translational tiles and spectral sets. My research is partially supported by NSF Grant DMS-2242871. In May 2025, I am expected to visit Tel Aviv University as an IAS Outstanding Junior Fellow.
