Tsz Wai Ko obtained his B.Sc. in engineering physics in 2016 and he completed his M. Phil. in
theoretical and computational physics in 2018 at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Afterward,
he pursued a Ph.D. in theoretical chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Jörg Behler at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, which he received in 2022. Currently, He is a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Shyue Ping Ong from NanoEngineering at the University of California, San Diego. His primary research interest is to combine materials science and artificial intelligence to accelerate the exploration of promising candidates for next-generation rechargeable solid batteries that achieve better capacity and safety.
