Hi this is Yao! I am a Schmidt AI in science postdoc fellow at UCSD, working with David Sandwell and Julian McAuley. I received my PhD degree in Earth Sciences at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in June 2023. Currently my research focus is to process and analyze SWOT satellite data and use machine learning to help understand small-scale ocean dynamics.
